Assignment Security Manager Job Description
Security Assignment Manager should be Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies. Controlling the security operations, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes. Supervising, recruiting, and training security personnel. Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join our Office of Security! As a Security Manager, your main duty will be to plan, implement and oversee our company's daily security operations. We also expect you to have strong leaderships skills as you will be managing and overseeing work of a few other employees.
Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures, supervising the security guard force
Managing the selection, training, operations, and administrative duties of the security team including assigning tasks after a judicious assessment of skill set and competency level
Explain and interpret corporate policy and procedures for subordinates and communicate relevant changes in administrative practices
Manage team’s monthly shift rostering; plan leave calendar; monthly attendance sheet; conduct internal training sessions and stay compliant with government, internal audit, labor and guard board laws
Managing security systems – Access, FAS, Biometric
Seeking out development areas regarding security arrangements and awareness in the organization
Create and implement control measures including system integration to achieve loss prevention
Organize regular training for on-site and off-site employees on security procedures
Maintain healthy relations with interface departments and regular liaison with local authorities
Investigates the reported theft and pilferage incidents
Performing Internal Audit
Office key management
Preparing monthly MIS report
Effective handling and addressing customer complaints, security-related issues
Implementing firm visitor management procedures
Intelligence gathering through various sources to assist investigations and create proactive control measures to avoid fraud/theft/misconduct.
Liaise with vendors and manage the monthly invoices; submission to Finance
Procurement of necessary assets & supplements for smooth running operations
Development of a floor warden organization including training & awareness programs for staff
Planning and executing crisis management and scenario planning exercise like evacuation drill program
Guiding first responders and advising management for resolving crises or potentially significant incidents
Ensuring necessary steps are taken to timely resolve all life/safety/security threatening situations
Update and maintain Emergency Contact List
Overview security operations at Deloitte and interfaces with Deloitte Management to ensure security is supporting overall service requirements
Implement operational and post additional or changes.
Plan and staff security for off-site Deloitte event of the client request
Follow up with supervisors on officer disciplinary issues to ensure they are addressed
Directly supervise all contract Managers, trainers, Badge Department personnel, and schedulers.
Meet with Deloitte security Management and ensure that their security needs are addressed
Follow up with supervisor and Managers on disciplinary issues and exceptional contributions.
Coordination of all issues regarding contract security personnel with the area Manager
Assignment Manager - Key Performance Area
Monitor and assist management in day-to-day security operations
Deployment of security staff as per the organizational requirement
Ensure regular briefing and training sessions for the security forces
Investigations of theft, pilferage, incidents, and submitting reports to the management for review and action
Ensure proper monitoring and implementation of night escorting process
Settle grievances of the security forces
Assist management in conducting Fire Safety programs
Manage and govern invoicing process:
Maintaining monthly attendance accurately
Calculation of monthly invoices in accordance with contracts.
Raising timely Monthly invoices to business partners
Submission of invoices to finance
Raising timely alerts to site leads for any deviation/expiration/breach of contracts
Managing leaves for guard force in an effective manner
Key Performance Area – Security Operations:
Monitoring and assisting day to day security operations
Deployment of security executives in and around the office premises
Conduct regular briefing and training to security staff
Ensure proper implementation of various security policies and procedures
Monitoring of alarms and assisting CCTV surveillance.
Investigations of theft, pilferage, incidents, and submitting reports to the management for review and action
Assist management in conducting Evacuation Drills and Fire Safety training
Min 10 years of experience as security manager or similar role
Min 5 years of experience with physical security protocols and procedures
Previous experience with budgeting and budget planning
Knowledge of ISO Audits
Knowledge of Fire & Safety equipment’s
Previous leadership experience
Good communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Great leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and any specialized course in security management
