Job Introduction:

G4S Malawi seeks to appoint Credit Control interns who will be responsible for collection of company money from Debtors. The positions are tenable at our Head Office in Blantyre, Chirimba Industrial Site and in Lilongwe, Area 43 Regional Office


Job Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring that Customers follow the 30 day credit limit as stipulated by the company’s policy

  • Debt collection from customers

  • Delivery of invoices and statements to customers

  • Ensure that all accounts are reconciled monthly and in time

  • Ensure that payment allocations have been done properly

  • Establish high level of communication and cooperation with all Business Line Managers

  • Attend to customer queries adequately & efficiently

  • Manage customer relationships

 

Personal skills and attributes

 

  • Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision 

  • Attention to detail

  • Good communication, Organized and well spoken English

  • Should have a high sense of maturity and willingness to work during odd hours.

  • Must be proficient in computers, relevant computer programs including Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Google), printers and scanners


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in Accounting 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
